Everyone deserves a chance, you didnt make a fool of yourself and you fought pretty well. in actual fact you asked what was the best spell for this or what should i do in that situation. IMHO this is the right thing to do, if anyone was to be rude to you for asking such things, then they are not worth playing alongside.

I remember the hunt trip you refer to but i didnt know until now it was your first outing.
