Results of Onslaught testing
Today I was running around, trying to herd up a group of my allies and I noticed something slightly annoying about the new onslaught duration. So, after cool down, I went back and tested it.
I started at one side of PN and hit Onslaught(5), started running at the same time. I was not even at the other side of the bridge before it ran out. Now this is certainly inside visual range. I know from experience that using onslaught(5) + spring(2) (Which conveniently matches the speed cap) you can not catch up with a lone mage over this distance if they decide to run from you. Conclusion? Onslaught is, indeed, useless for covering distance to an enemy now. Reduce duration to 10s? They may as well have deleted the speed boost entirely. If anyone else has done any such testing, please provide your results here too. I don't imagine it'll make a gnat's difference in a sandstorm, but it'd be interesting to see what sort of usefulness there is left in this mana eater.
