I feel your pain guys, you think its bad for a barb try playing a knight for a while. We dont have ONS or Roar only 2 knocks Kick and Feignt (good luck getting close enough to a hunter to use on of those) and we dont hit nearly as hard. Add to that our buffs have been nerfed to the point we have to turn our backs on a battle for them to be effective for our mates. Personal defensive buffs have been shown to be practically useless(re: caution) .
Unless we corner an archer we have almost no chance of even hitting him, forget defeating one. yeah warriors might as well be eliminated from the game
in the current incarnation, just give mages and archers a "door bash" spell and
we are obsolete entirely. Of course we'll hear the standard retorts from the
spell and arrow classes but of course they'd be deprived of our "meals on wheels" rp feast. I've come to the conclusion that the only real way to
balance this would be to eliminate every class's speed buff, including ONS and
SPRING. Then if a hunter or mage decides to backpeddle and continue
attacking they would risk melee combat, then we'd have a chance.
