Ubuntu logon crash illegal instruction
Hello,
I've seen a couple of threads touching on this issue, but nothing helps. I don't think this is a "hardware issue" because I have had this working at one point (on Kubuntu 8.04 or 8.10). I think it was 8.04 and problems started appearing after 8.10. I haven't been able to get it working since. I'm currently running Ubuntu 8.04. I would like to be on 9.10. I am fairly determined to get this working. I would like to avoid buying a new video card. When I run rolauncher, I can accept terms and supply logon info. Then it crashes and if I'm in terminal, it reports: Code:
