Current state of the International Proletarian Revolution (or lack thereof)
How long must we suffer under the yoke of the Capitalist? Everyday I go to work and I feel the sting of the Capitalist's whip on my back and the burden of his chains around my feet. Why do we put up with this? The only purpose the Capitalist serves is to make profit on my labour. This exploitation is an insult to our human dignity. Consider this; CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) posted 600 million dollar (CAD) profit for the fourth quarter of 2009 (this is just an example of many, I'm sure upon your own research you can find other more egregious examples). That profit goes to line the already golden coffers of multi-millionaires. Where is the justice in that? Am I not worth, as a being, the same as the Capitalist? Is my hard toil not worth more than a rich man's laziness? The only solution to these and other injustices and indignities is the Revolutionary establishment of a dictatorship of The People. But why isn't this happening? The current monopoly state of Capitalism in the West is ripe for a Proletarian Revolution. Yet it doesn't come.
The Capitalist keeps the worker down with the hope, the promise of one day becoming part of the "ruling" class. A "have" instead of a "have not". This will never happen. It is a deceitful and despicable lie, perpetrated by despicable and deceitful people. They keep us down with the help (conscious or unconscious) of the "middle class"; people who are not rich, but who are also not paupers. These people are cowards. They capitulate to the Capitalist, they bow to the Capitalist, all the while feeding on the scraps the Capitalist feels fit throw them in order to sustain their capitulation. It's these people we must reach out to and imbue with the cause of the worker. But it's not easy to convince the "middle class" that our struggle is righteous. They don't have much to lose, but it's enough to keep them at the end of the Capitalist's leash. The worker on the other hand has nothing to lose but everything to gain. Independence, liberty, dignity, and proper social, political, and financial compensation for our hard labour. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of working for the gain of the Capitalist, and whether you work for a large corporation or a small business, I assure you, the Capitalist is benefiting from your toil. Much more so than you do. It's time this generation took a stand for liberty. It's time this generation took a stand for dignity for not only himself but his fellow man. It's time this generation stopped feeding into the lies sold to us by Capitalists and the politicians on the payroll of the Capitalists. I urge each of you to seek out your local Socialist/Communist/Marxist-Leninist parties, labour unions and other pro-democratic, social justice organizations and get involved.
