He became even more frustrated when he targeted an enemy and while well within range continually clicked the spell "Disable Limb" in upwards of two-dozen times but instead of it triggering, he only continued to do phantom swings and arrhythmic normals (with plenty of mana and no debuffs).

Amusing

I could say how stupid that is, but I dont think I need to.

Evade/Resist system is overpowered. >:[

Technically the "randomness" quotient is really what epic-failed, since the barbarian (i.e. the player) has no control over how/when his attacks succeed/fail.

Come on, mate.

I understand you have the responsibility of answering on NGD's behalf, but this thread was neither disrespectful or unintelligible. It was a bit overtly sarcastic and ironic, but I could point out many, many threads that are active right now in the complaints subforum that are so much worse.

We are all hurting from the fixed evade/resist% rate at the moment. Even the smallest acknowledgement (excluding, we can't do it, we don't have the manpower) would be nice.

The fight was for Imp. We held it, so technically we won. Wasn't any fun though, due in part to the numerous technical problems encountered therein. It was frustrating, and I used an attempt to appeal to one's empathy in an anecdotal sense. Generally, complaints (constructive or otherwise) are driven by frustrations relating to something in the game that may need improvement (subjective).

I utilized Standardized English definition-format using modern structure and syntax (That whole "understandable" part).

In regards to calling NGD a "talented design team", I would consider that respectful, at least in one facet. As it were, they built the game up over years and many man-hours, and it is by no means a small feat or effort as a whole. However, the end-user expressing an experience could be considered valuable input, if they cared about it, that is.

As far as ideas, well I've already spilled enough of my creativity into this forum for free in the Suggestions section. As for conclusions, I think we all know what I was alluding to in my original post. But I guess since I omitted it originally:

Conclusion: 

A combat system, lacking any kind of consistency or transparency, should be tweaked to a point of consistent fluidity as well as clarity in function as to allow for understanding by the player-base, which in turn will allow for greater dynamics in player interaction with their characters and the game itself (most notably the warzone).  Noted that the least clear functions of the combat system include evade, resist, block as well as global cooldown, spell-trigger timing and range.
