Hi-

this is just my experience with Vista.

While playing ROL on Vista can be a bit buggy (like ROL messing up DirectX), I have ROL installed within the Program Files directory. I also have the ROL executable set to run in Windows XP compatibility mode. I haven't had any serious problems so far (other than the aforementioned). Also, I've turned User Account Control off.
