Default These 'realm capitals' mentioned in certain quests.

Does anyone think that they may be added? They have been referred to in many quests before and I'm just wondering if you think NGD will make any sort of realm capital, as they could be hinting at it in the quests.

they already exist, for instance, the capital of ignis is altaruk. the capital of alsius is montisognir (or however you spell it). and the capital of syrtis is fisgael.

Though in syrtis and alsius they both make hints of coming there on transportation or from the main land, as the Syrtian noble himself refers to the king as being somewhere else. In Alsius no such character as the emporer exists either. Ignis however where chased into the desert mountains by syrtis so what you see of Ignis may be all there is of Ignis.

No, in quite a number of the mainstream quests in Ignis the capital is referred to as being elsewhere ("So you're the chosen one they sent from the capital?" kind of thing).

This was touched on in another thread recently.

Like Ara mentioned, and to what the OP has in mind, the real capital cities are not in our map. Altaruk, Montsognir, and Fisgael are only the capital cities of the warzone region, though they may simply be called capitals incorrectly because of a mistranslation or something, we don't know because NGD barely ever talks about lore. (I say warzone region because there isn't anything else to say, the regions of the world don't even have names, and we don't even know what the world itself is called, but the capital cities are not in our map.)

Syrtis' and Alsius' mainlands are beyond the "sea" (once again no name), while Ignis' mainland extends beyond the mountains in the north-east.

In the far far past, NGD talked about the possibility of expansions, then they decided that first they would focus on redoing the current map first, then work on expansions. Currently, only Initiation Zones have been finished, the War Zone is currently being redone, and after that they will probably do the Inner Realm Zones. But don't count on anything, they made a little bit of hype a year ago when they said among other things that they would start to reveal more lore information, like "the origin of Ximerald will be revealed in a stunning way", but like a few other things it was swept under the rug.

If you mean the Xymerald like what some bows ( or weps in general?? don't remember anymore ) were made of in pre1.0, then they have solved the "problem" of the origin by just removing all the xymerald things in-game ...

Xymerald is an illegal substance in all realms afaik, mentioned in black market trading. It is described as a fluid, and at other times in a crystal form. NGD claimed that Xymerald bows were a bug (which I highly doubt, since they had their own skin and were present in the game for over a year), so they removed the material from the game, but you can still find blue colored bows even now.

When they said the origin of Xymerald would be revealed, they were talking about a new line of quests or something. Like I said, never happened though,
