Ask NGD: Spanish forum Q & A
I thought It would be helpful to see the Q & A from the Spanish forum so that we do not duplicate questions. Please excuse the rough translations. Please feel free to correct my mistakes. I will repair any mistakes as they are brought to my attention.
Week one Question was : link Do you have plans in the future to give some use to the RPs? Answer : We don't intend to make RP useful. What we do, we will soon introduce a new currency that can only be obtained through the PVP, RVR. I can not say what it will do, but it will probably be included in the February update. Week 2 Questions were: link Do you plan to add a system of professions and occupations? Answer: Regnum is a game primarily for War and we want that aspect to differentiate us from other titles. While we have addressed this issue many times and with different ideas, we never got to a model of "crafting" that does not look like a heap of boring compared to fighting in PVP or RVR. We are not planning to address this issue this year (except for revolutionary idea: fun, easy to make and not break the rest of the game.) Question :Are you planning to remodel the Middle Zone and War Zone, as the initiation zone? Answer : The middle zone is the most difficult to improve because the structures present there are many and complex. The war zone is our main objective to improve and that's where you spend most of the time. The new forts and castles are along these lines (will come in the first half of the year). Week 3 Question: By when will the Barbarian be able to use dual wielding weapons? Answer: Even though, the art animation for dual wielding weapons it´s already done, there´s a lot of big changes in the combat system that need to be made before adding this feature in tothe game. It´s for that reason that we decided to delay it and work hard in more urgent features (February release launch for example). Our plan is to launch a new balance version by April/May. So far with "Google translate addon" I had no problems to translate and understand everything on Spanish forum.

Q1: Do you plan to improve the wishes of the Dragon? A1: Yes. Our idea was to add 2 new wishes each year. Never could. We will make 2 new wishes soon. And probably convene the community to think up ideas for new wishes. Q2:Are you going to create dungeons where there are new creatures? A2: Regnum engine is designed to draw outdoors. To make interesting dungeons would be needed a very large development as for the technology (for drawing room without killing the GPU) and as tools (to create the dungeons). Now we think it is more important to put our resources in RvR, the most fun part of the game. Sorry for any mistake in translation. |
