Cant save game configuration

Hey there guys,

So yeah basicly a friend of me wants to start playing regnum he installed the game and when he launches it you have that little starting screen where you can pick your server and stuff so then the game starts to patch and when the patch seems to be done this little thing pops up and says cant save game configuration.

Does anyone know how we can fix this?

Not sure but if it's on vista or 7 then I think some folks have to run RO for the first time as administrator.

True, it is a windows 7 and after a little while I tried running it as administrator and indeed the little screen with cant save game configuration didnt pop up but the problem now is it seems that the same file gets patched over and over again we left the computer for 10 minutes or something and the computer was still patching the same file (I think its size was 1744) and when it was done patching that file the ro screen popped out and came back again patching the same file with the same size

Well atleast I think it was the same file since it was the same size all the time.

Think its because it RO installs on C:/ (cant find backslash :P ) by default and if you install to C:/Program Files/ everything works as it should, not sure about that though.
