Default Can't see some letters in text

I don't know how or why this started happening. I can't see the letters of text in the UI for things like the Friends list, Alt+P ping box, Alt+I info box, or the numbers on my spell bar.

The health bar is also wrong... though this is actually more helpful

I am having this issue since the update from about 2 weeks ago. This issue only happens on the 32 bit client I think. At least some others on the 32 bit Linux client experienced the same issues with texts.

Yes, I'm on 31bit Linux. It started happening on the live server after the update with the new character faces.

The first time it happened to me was when I logged to Amun right before the update. Restarting does not help. At first, it was random (start game, everything fine, next start up, messed up), but after the first hotfix right after the character faces update, it stays messed up all the time.

What can I do to fix this? Should I reinstall the game or is there an easier way? What exactly is happening?

Try LANG=en_US.UTF-8 in menu shortcut.

That sounds like a good idea, but where is this 'menu shortcut'?

Probably meaning you edit the .desktop file you run the game with (provided you do). You can edit the exec line to something like
Code:
Exec=sh -c "LANG=en_US.UTF-8 /path/to/rolauncher"
But if your LANG is already set to this at boot time, it won't help. You might try to install some fonts, if you are not missing some. Such as Liberation family, or DejaVu or Free Fonts or something.
