thnx pat!
ive taken movies using fraps, then i tried to make them into one movie using windows movie maker, but wow they turned out all distorted,so i gave up.plus they are upside down lolz...ill try to work it out but yes my gcd is slower, tho not much more than yours and you cast spells alot faster.im guessing you have more than 11% cast speed(thats what i have).i think ive identified the cause now.after i cast spells my game hangs alot longer to make normal hits.the gap between is less fluid. ive done tests on my cast times and it seems like my ping is being added to them.this must also apply to normal hits as well if thats the case.it would explain the slow feel to my game when everyone around me appears to be doing things faster. |

FPS can affect it, but just on your PoV. There's a nice bug where if a spell is CDing and you cast a spell, as the GCD applies that spell can be casted instantly if the cooldown process finished for the spell that was CDing. |

This is also reason why on some Zepharoth's videos you can see him moving before his spell actually finished casting and the spell won't get canceled. He is big lagger and he can take advantage of it, but you can learn it too, just watch your ping and use that to calculate when you can move. If your ping is 200ms and you cast spell with 1s cast time, you can start moving after 0.8s of casting that spell. If your ping is 500ms, you can start moving after 0.5s ... but keep in mind that this is not an exploit or advantage over others, because it is compensated by having to wait more for the spell to start casting. |

ok,this was my first ever attempt at posting anything on youtube.it wasnt working for me when i checked it and im hoping its just because there is a delay for them to process it,or w/e. if you see at the start im getting hit with break apart in the time it takes me to pop out make one normal attack then pop back behind the wall.then you will see me cast break apart.the difference in time seems large. and sorry about leaving the spell bar tips on,i was making other movies and turned them on to show what items i was changing to. now i just have to figure out how to edit small movies into one larger one lolz. |
