Now then, let us see what are the implications that will arise with GS leaving regnum.

--> First and foremost of course, is Haven going to be merged with RA? Not anytime soon maybe, but in the near future perhaps? We all saw what happened to Piranha once Boa-Compra ended their agreement with NGD.

--> Next, would there be weekly boosts anymore on Haven? I know NGD doesn't maintain scheduled weekly boosts on RA, so I would like to know about this. (In case Haven continues, that is)

--> The only GMs and GCs we ever got on Haven were from Gamesamba, now after their withdrawal, will we get any GMs/GCs from NGD? Or will it be #yolo? (In case Haven continues, that is)

--> With GS came a plethora of events, starting right from "Seek out the hidden GM" to "Warmaster Battles" we had them all (though nothing was conducted in the past 10 months). So will this mean this is the end of trivial events? (In case Haven continues, that is)

--> Last but not the least, we all know realm chat and commerce in warzone were added to haven because of the pressure mounted by GS during the steam release. With GS leaving, will NGD remove realm chat and commerce in warzone? (In case Haven continues, that is)

I hope haven and ra merge, I would start playing again.

As for GMs and events, I think we can safely assume they will be non-existant.

Realm chat in the wz will for sure stay for the duration of Haven. Ra is the only server without it.

Gamesamba were great. NGD didn't treat them well at all, though. Thank you to all the GS who put so much time and effort into maintaining Raven and eventually Haven and having such a good support system.

As for this thread, I hope it is indeed the end of Haven. Bring on Ra. Let me start recording there.

Nothing annoy me more than attention seeking GMs disturbing and distracting players in game, its just so unnecessary.

This will hopefully be the end of that.

Great news! No more GS dorks talking BS on realmchats with green letters, no more stupid events driving people off warring. Maybe they will finnaly remove realm chat in WZ and commerce chat will be available at markets only. I only hope Haven to stay seperate server and be renamed to Hours.

I doubt it. If it does happen, it be because Haven will turn into Tyr and not because of Gamesamba leaving.

I doubt it, NGD never implemented them much before the merge and I

doubt they will go about maintaining regular boosts. Maybe just for special events and such if you guys are lucky.

I doubt it. In all the years I've been playing this game, I have never seen an NGD GM online (not that they don't log on). GC's was a Gamesamba incentive which will more than likely disappear with them if it hasn't already.

I doubt it. Gamesamba ran all the random non-holiday related events to spice up the game. They did a good job at it on Raven but since the merge they were given alota grief for it by NGD players so they started cutting down on it. Now that Gamesamba's pulling out, they events probably will be too.

I actually have no idea about this but I doubt it will be removed any time soon.

We have no intentions of merging Haven with Ra.

Boosts are managed by GMs. We could never arrange GMs for Haven because GameSamba had the exclusivity to do so. Also, their powers were limited because there were almost no tools to control what they did exactly in the game. Now that is changing and we have a set of tools to review their activity. Next week we will start with a process of hiring, for both Haven and Ra. So yes, boosts will continue to happen.

As I said some days ago, Events will be one of the main items in the next roadmap. They will be varied and the GMs will have the ability to activate them whenever felt necessary. And yes, system managed events. Not a strong-willed helper wanting to manage everything only by teleporting and chatting.

It wasn't GS pressure, but Community pressure by the obvious turnout of people commercing in saves through realm and general chat. When a decent amount of GMs is around, surely we could consider removing it and forcing commerce inside the realm. But that is to be discussed.

Of course. Gameplay should not be interrupted by GMs (we can leave that only for the developers to do from time to time )
