It's because you use long bows... never experienced such problems with shorties

IMO longbows should be more accurate than short unless you're at close range...

i dont think so but long bow using eagle eye should be (and thats not the case at the moment).

In real life, arrow material has a large impact on its "spine". Thus your accuracy is also affected by it. This is why I've always suspected that in-game arrow material and quality affect hit chance a lot. The power of a bow also affects different types of arrows differently as explained in the link above.
