what's with the update system

Hello, I'm a new member to Regnum, and I've just installed the client and ran it, but it seems to have a problem with the update system it has just downloaded about 12 2380k files in a row resetting every time, is this normal for regnum because I thought a usual update system updated all the files all at once and then ran the game so can someone help me out here soon please.

Okay now it has been 20 times this just seems like it's getting out of hand, and wasting my bandwidth.

Setaro,

Try deleting everything inside the Regnum folder except rolauncher and try again. This happened to me before and deleting everything seemed to fix it.

thanks I went to try that but instead I went into the self update folder and launched the .exe there and it worked, strange I just did that on a hunch, maybe the installer put out the wrong shortcut, oh well thanks for your help anyways
