Just to make this problem doesn't get forgotten.

No wonder why we stand waiting for someone to come help defend our forts if everyone is stuck when they try to switch chars...

Hey,

Yeah, I noticed this problem happens when there more then 600+ users, probably the server is loaded to much with processing information, idk.

i don't know really. it looks like it's more time than load triggered. but i might be totally wrong.

sometimes i log in with no problem when there are 700 users. sometimes i can't get inside with 500 users...

I got it just then, but it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

just a matter of luck. if you try at the right moment it's ok. sometimes it lasts 30s, sometimes 5 or 10 min (maybe more, i usually do something else while waiting so i ddidn't time) plus the time you need fo the world to load...

A long time ago I regularly took 20 - 30 minutes.

I just got this game and it takes forever saying Loading... Looking for available player characters. this is normal correct? what u guys are talking about right?

Normally it happens when there's a lot of users online...500+ for example.

You have to wait. The database is busy and responds to slow.

NGD has immediate plans to add a new database server to ease the burden.

wooohooo !

I don't know how to explain this in scientific way but waiting a long time for a solution that has been announced is really better than trying to beg (even for a short time) for one and having the feeling that nothing is going to / can be done...

EDIT: lol, 175 users online and i'm stuck again ! madness...
