Another Rant
Barbarians- One of the most overpowerd class, but no-one admits it. Someone that does over 500+ normal damage, is certainly overpowered. Plus, they have a spell, thats rarely blocked, that does over 1k damage, sometimes 2k. PLUS, they can catch ANY class no matter what the %$#! you do.
Hunters- Oh, my goodness. SOTW: the most overpowered spell in the game. When a hunter has 1% health left....SOTW. Every time!! Plus, Knights can't get to them cause they back pedal so much!! Plus their NORMAL evades, outrageous!! Knights- Fix this damn class. Its suppose to be tanks. Not slow poke that does 100 damage when their opponent is doing over 300!!! Even though we have "high defense", If I have 1,000+ armor points, I expect my opponent to hit me around 50's or at the very most, 100s, but no, 250s...300s...WOW!! So this is ridiculous as well!! Thank you for joining me for my Rant of The Day (ROTD) |

Why do people always complain about hunters and sotw, as tho no other class has it? Yes hunters are annoying; they are meant to be. But they are not the only ones using sotw... |

If you think having such bad defense on a Knight is so unbearable, try unequipping all of your armor sometime, including your shield, then run around naked in a fort war. That's what a Barbarian feels like when he has to make those huge damages, for example when rushing to cast area spells, or to kill a Conjuror... The best we can do is try to kill someone before we go. At least sometimes we can accomplish that. Quote:
Hunters have trained themselves to wait until the most critical point in the battle to use spells such as Son of the wind or Low profile. It's not because the spell is overpowered - it just as easily fails or is wasted in other situations. It's that the Hunter chose the most advantageous time to use it. That's playing tactical. Don't get mad just because the enemy was smarter than you. Quote:
The only ones who can get hit for a measly 50 damage are Marksmen with their two defensive spells, Evasive tactics and Strategic position. Try using Caution and Heroic presence together, you'll get the same effect. I also doubt you were willing to sacrifice enough of your setup to have both Caution and blocking maxed, yet still have the nerve to rant about your lack of defense. And that's not even mentioning the damage resistance passives. Knight is the only class in the game which can have 50% Piercing damage resistance, before armor even gets considered. If you try to do too much at once, and combat too many situations, you won't be able to be overpowered. This is and always will be the main problem with Knights. They want to do too much, combat every situation, beat every player, and it's just not possible and why they are often found to be lacking. All other classes make some sacrifice. For example, for Hunters, it's only skilling enough firepower to kill levellers and running away in other situations since he won't be able to win due to the sacrifices he made. Chose your powers, chose your battles, know when it's time to fight... and not. Regards,

I guess when you look at a SC monkey, you look at all of us barbs, so yeah were all overpowered, we all hit 1k hits. INDEED! South Cross is hardly ever blocked! I always HEAR of knights praying they block it. Yeah we are always running at super high speed, we can catch you, and kill you in a hit. If you call a Barbarian overpowered, then I guess a Conjurer, Marksman, and Warlock are overpowered aswell, as with Staff Mastery Setup's ive seen people do 300-600 damage at 30 range. By the time I get to you and do a hit of 500-600 (Which is my normal hit range) A marksman would have already dealt well over 1k damage to me. Try to get more experience before you throw down the knife like that. |

Hmmm let me look at my build.......... Nope didn't think I had sotw. Combat log....... hmm yep killed by a knight. Evades are good I admit because they just might give me time to back pedal so I can be healed by the conj. But nooooo oh dear look at that sultars, meteor, golems fist, sc oh dear dead hunter. Now everyone is happy. It would be better to say that maybe a percentage of Hunters use SotW. 1% of health left means maybe 20 or 30hp so at that point maybe 2% of mana. Not enough to cast SotW anyway. Result, again dead hunter and everyone goes home happy. (This is one of my builds I will admit to having SotW in others but it depends on what I wan to do. So please don't tell me off for not using it ) I agree with what Katiechan said too........ Best Regards

My knight can do 300-400 depending on my set up and the wepon im useing. 500~ with spells If people hit 50's 100's we would be immortals (4000~ HP at 43) I could sit and my heath would regen faster than they could kill me. They are not compleatly broken, at low lvls they sucketh but in the 40s they start to come into usefullness, below there everyone will reconise your low lvl armour can kill you just incase you have deflecting up
