Demon didnt have a hunter after beta, he tried to make an all mage clan, i know, i was in it. He did try to make a hunter clan after, when he was lvl 50, but this didnt happen for another 4 months.

Taoshi about a eight months ago made a mage only clan, it too was short lived, but I don't know if that is indicitive of the idea. The viability of the clan has more to do with the leadership and key members than the theme (unless the theme itself is a total loser, but even some of the craziest ideas have merit).
