Default Change optionskey (o)

I'm a dvorak user and have arranged so that I can play using äaoe instead of wasd. The problem is when hitting the back key ( o ). That brings up the options. Is there a way to edit the options key so that I can play without having the options dialog popping up all the time?

You could use Xmodmap to bind O to another key (L for example) and then bind the unused O button to another button (I for example) and then use this key in the Regnum option window?
I don't know, just an idea

You could also use Xbindkeys for example to override the O button and instead bind it to the XTest application (don't remember the name currently) to send out faked key events....

Well, rebinding wont help that much. Since I write dvorak in game as well I don't want to edit the layout and then "learn" the new layout just to play Regnum :/ Isn't there some way to override the games binding for the option?
