Launching the game, screen gets black and game freezes

I have a PC AMD atlhon 64 dual core and 2,5 GB ram and video card Gforce 9600
Once logged in, and clicking the World button, game does very firewall, NGD studio logo apperas and then goes into a black screen, freezing the game.
Appreciate any guidance.
