doesn't petless hunters have more tricks up their sleeves since they don't need to spend skill points on pets?
then again, I only played a very low level hunter so I wouldn't know :P

like the idea of a unique pet for each realm....hmm, a miniature thorkul.......lol

Well I play hunter without pet from lvl 30 because I realy like more fort war and I m able to support the group more but I got pwn from hunters at my lvl if they use pet. I think many people talking about this like an PvP problem because if you want to kill hunters make a good setup for it and you will....this is RvR game. The Pets discipline should be changed with some usefull spells in fort war and pet should be lower rank doing only support for hunter not 300 dmg, good hunters will be still good and we can play more fort war not just hunting. But thats my opinion and btw hunter class can make something in wz only from high lvl because on lower lvl (30-40) is hunting mostly suicide and in fort war the enemy try to stay outa marksman range what is a bit higher so its realy hard to do something and we know other class can join around 35 - 37 and be very usefull for the group. And trere is one hunter on Horus-Ignis : Dominik X who pwn me yesterday without a pet... Tricks are powerfull weapon if you know how to use them even witout the pet because the strongest weapon is suprise and first shot.

No, for a hunter the strongest weapon is now sheer speed. If you get caught by another class, you're doing it wrong.
