Truth be told, im brutally honest too, i am even on the verge of pissing ppl off with that, but i wouldnt change it for the world. My friends respect me for that, IRL. My other trait is that i really like intelligent argumented conversations.

Well im a horticulturist turned..might do childcare...i want to help kids, but i dont know where to start, my dad is a social worker...i look up to him a lot..i want to follow in his footsteps, but i cant see the future

I know a girl who had kids at the age of 17. She's my cousin's cousin, so she's kind of related to my family. She knew all the stuff about prevention, but she took any.

Some people (in fact, most of the people) are not ready at that age. I'm 18 (almost 19), I met people from all social classes, and I can tell you it's not only a matter of age and money, but experience. Let me clarify that I'm setting Emily case aside, since I'm speaking about the things I've seen and the people I know in real life.

You can't generalize and assume a fallacious idea like "if you have offspring at a young age you will be a bad parent", but it's more accurate to think that the lack of experience will influence. Some people are mature enough to take the responsibility and learn from it.

LOL! I havent attacked anyone. She dragged herself in this discussion, as you can PLAINLY see if you read the posts from the beginning. I have regular sex if that interest you, and im totally satisfied on that part. Attacks on females? Please clarify?

Yeah dude youre right. I never said anything about Skatz being a bad parent. I only said its a mistake to be pregnant at age 17. And thats it. Skatz has said so herself. So like i said before - case closed.

This is an interesting comment for back, about, 150 years ago, in American history, the average age of females getting pregnant was 14-16 and the youngest person one could marry was 12-13 in age.

It seems strange doesn't that what we view as improper was a norm for our great grandparents and older?

This is the problem with the West and technological advancements, we believe because we "know things" now, which past generations didn't know, that somehow we are better off.

And since we have come to believe this we lust after advancement and forget our past and how important that past was for our future...


However, Ironfoot anything as viewed as an outsider can be viewed as a "mistake", like you having a relationship with the opposite sex, but what's more important is how the individual, who supposedly made this "mistake", views it.

How this individual views his/her own action will determine whether or not the supposed "mistake" actually becomes a regret, to not only self but those around them and society too.

Well HB, that was 150 years ago, this is now. Thats quite easy to understand.

The only thing i want out of this conversation is to learn. To increase my knowledge. And this i did. I learned that there are many many people out there with many many views about the world. Many of those that go against my views and my beliefs. If you think its cool to have child, while you are a child yourself, please dont let little dumb me tell you its irresponsible.
Like i said, im happy that im not the father of anything yet
And one day if i have kids of my own, I wouldnt want them to be parents at age 17. Its OK to have sex at that age, but please, use protection..

But that is my opinion that i formed from my observations.
For topics like this i enjoy this forum. You can always learn, and deduct something new.

Exactly however they didnt have condoms then or the pill...i had a frank conversation with my Nan about what it was like having babies when she was younger..and even she said that she would have loved to have had the choice, to have babies or not..
