Since the last update, my FPS has skyrocketed, I get no lag and now have anything from 18-90 FPS, depending on where Im looking. Sometimes the FPS reads 6, but there is no change in performance.
The character selection screen looks better now, the graphics are clearer and correct and the sky looks good. The reflection on the front of the other ships on the Alsius character screen is red still, it has been consistantly throughout all updates.

The game itself has a couple of important flaws in it for me:

Basically, the lack of any ground, sky or sea. This makes playing extremely difficult around the initiation zone, because I dont know when Im stepping on ground or on air. So yes, hope that helps. Oh and you still have some floating shield around Skoheim Village.

Microsoft XP Home Edition, Dell Dimension DM051, Intel (R), Pentium (R), D CPU 2.66GHz, 0.99 GB of RAM and Physical Address Extension. Using Open GL.

Everything looks good. I get high frame rate, nice graphics and little lag. In every test case that I have performed, the performance the new client exceeds the old client even on the same settings.

However recently the world has become shrouded in a strange blue fog:

System information:
Athlon 64 X2 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM
ATI Radeon 2600 Pro 256MB (PCI-E)
ATI Catalyst 9.11 (fglrx 8.67.4)
Running Debian Squeeze

A few days ago, before the 14MB update from the launcher, everything was working smoothly.

nVidia GTX 260

I haven't had any serious issues with the new client, save one. I cannot seem to get the view distance out any reasonable distance. I'm not sure what's wrong, but the slider doesn't do anything except change the distance trees are shown, the landscape simply doesn't render any further than it used to (if at all).

in my attached screenshot, I'm on a hill in frozen wind forest, I'm looking towards Birka and withering heights. As you can see, the landscape cuts off well before it even gets to those mountains. Since everyone else raves about the draw/view distance, I have to believe that it's not displaying right in my case.

After the new update to the launcher, it crashs every time i try to login after pressing the play button. Its loading a few ressources and crashing then, no matter if I use fixed safe mode or shader 2-4.

Arch Linux 64
AMD Phenom II X2, 2 GB RAM

after the recent update i can play again without many crashs. The hp bar bug of died players is solved it seems. Hair color bug and preliator bug is still there.

Default 2 crashes today.

I was tweaking with:

/vg_camera_far_plane
/cl_terrain_load_radius
/cl_mapobject_load_radius

...before one of the crashes, however it had run with the settings I put in it for at least 2 hours without a problem (even warring).

The settings I was running at were:

/vg_camera_far_plane 2000
/cl_terrain_load_radius 6

This one:

/cl_mapobject_load_radius

would always just reset itself to 3.

On the plus side, I did get 2-3 hours of warring with the draw distance quite far out.

I SHOULD MENTION.... the new tech client will no longer render the terrain for me after the 2nd crash. I tried rebooting, etc... haven't tried reinstalling the client, will try that next.

Anyway, my specs:

Arch Linux 64
C2 Duo, 4 Gigs ram
nVidia GTX 260

Sony VAIO VGN-Z21XN
2x Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P9500 @ 2.53GHz
4 GB of RAM
nVidia Corporation GeForce 9300M GS (rev a1) (512 MB of own memory + 1,5 GB borrow-able memory).

Software:
Fedora 12 up to date
Newest drivers from Nvidia (nouveau off).

Problems:
Performance - on NT client with shader 2.0 max 40 fps in empty area, decreasing to about 25 when people are around, while on current production client I have 120-140 in the same conditions.

Look - my warlock's tunic is black, while it should be red - I really hope those are bugs because I have spent money for ximerin to paint it, so I would like it to be like it used to be green with red - current look is bad.
My conjurer's hairs are white while they should be blond.

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz / 512MB Ram / Nvidia GeForce MX 440 with AGP8X / Microsoft Window XP Home Edition (5.1,Build 2600)


My current problems are the following:

I cant see mobility animation, My Fps are around 30-50 normally rare ocassion
most likely below 30-40, I lag a lot around huge numbers of players and mostly at wars.

I have a problem with the audio, and it was supposed to be fix on this new client
i cant enable audio nor music on regnum while playing, If i do enable this features,
i hear this audio glitch which great a strange sound and freezes my computer.
It freeze due to this bug. I don't have control over my computer it takes control
of my CPU and it force me to force shutdown my pc, ever sense,has been over
5 or 6 month that i play regnum with no sound. I hope you guys might help me
solve this problem.

Dual Core 2.0 Ghz / 2 GB ram / Ati Radeon X1650 / Win XP SP2 / Shader model 2.0 / openGL

i cant enter the game using Direct3D and shader 3.0 but with OpenGL and shader 2.0 it works perfect for me! at all details maxed while grinding and while in small fights like 5vs5 my lowest fps is about 55 and the lag (which i suffered even in that scale small fights) is gone for now it seems i will try also in fort wars and give feedback to you. for now it seems really perfect
also liked the new effect just before appear in save after killed
