-New: Achievements System. Players will be able to unlock various achievements, in 6 different categories. -Fixed: Some powers occasionally had an additional duration of 1 second. Balance: -Modified: The duration and/or cooldown of some control powers had been adjusted. -Modified: The range of the power "Heal Pet" now has a range of 15 mts. -Modified: The power "Confuse" is now part of the Hunter's "Scouting" discipline and now has a min/max duration of 10-22 segs. -Modified: The power "Sentinel" is now part of the Archer's "Tricks" discipline. Beast Attack is still instant cast ... so you made mistake in changelog or forgot to change cast speed in game. I hope it's the first one since beast attack is my favorite spell when using spear - not because of that random dizzy, but because of good damage that is almost comparable with south cross and because of unusable ripost (too long cast time).

All I can say is wow....
This is going to be an interesting test. They forgot to make shortbow - dual shot .5 seconds casting time. |

Changelog seems to be wrong, they forgot to adjust the cast time on spells, making this update a bit half-hearted.
Played Hunter for a bit, they're extremely weak now. In every fight I just had damage coming at me from all directions, and I was unable to do anything about the onslaught due to lacking any ranged CC besides Distracting shot, which is hard to have and is interrupted by any attack. I tried to argue about this outcome in several threads, including this one, but unfortunately now that this has gone live I am left unable to play Hunter in any real role and will probably return to Horus on my still OP Marksman. Hunters now have absolutely no role in group fights, they can barely win one on ones with the nerfed Confuse duration. Many Hunters warned NGD that Hunter reliance on Ambush and Confuse was too high, and that that reliance had to be broken before the range and durations were nerfed - clearly they did not listen. I completely disagree, confuse, caltrops, distracting shot, ensnare, and many other can be used quite well...
A hunter with the right setup is a sure win for the team, a well place distract shot, a time proper confuse, not to mention having the advantage of camo and knowing the enemy before they are seen, so many ways to play it and have fun if your sole aim is group defined. |
