At that instant the door to the tavern burst open and there stood a tall Nordo knight his armor gleaming in the sun outside, his face shadowed by the murkiness of the tavern, The silhouette of his helmet looked like Gawyns Klutu gripped the mace at his side. The knight spoke it defiantly wasn't Gawyn
'You guys need to come with me, We're going to Herbred fort

I love how you made me out to be so epicly mysterious^^

Ok well last time I saw Gawyn it was on Amun before 1.0.8 and he was all Jade/Sage Green colored (coloured for you Commonwealth folks)

anyway sorry this is later than previously mentioned (my laptop broke >.<) need a replacement power cable could take a week or so. This one is a bit longer than the others though so enjoy ^^

Gwynavere ran hard into the forest, taking some caution to make no sound. She ran a short while and climbed up a tall pine tree. Being able to see for miles gave her an awesome advantage. She could see all the way to Aggersborg fort,then make out over the tree tops the grey stone of Alsius's great wall. She looked for the zerg she caught glimpses of through the woods. They where quite a distance away from her hiding spot in the tree. she looked toward the bridge and the verge where she left the others, to tell the truth if she didn't know they where there she wouldn't have seen them at all.
The column of Alsians made their way to the bridge. Gwynavere tried to make out what they where up against. She scanned the lines starting from the front was two similarly dressed warlocks ,one was a small grey haired female the other a tall Utghar. Judging by the horns on the Utghar it was Arcan Heartsfang, the woman was Alsius's top warlock Rhanya. Whatever they where doing they meant business, taking the big artillery. Going further down the line the knights Ultimate, Asdaf and Scull. Further back and pretty obvious was Kyrottimus, in his dazzling blue armour. Then someone yelling at Kyrottimus she could almost make out what he was shouting, something about “wheelbarrow...” and “perfectly good legs”. Then it hit her who the one yelling was the shock made her almost fall out of the tree.
'...SoL, so you fight against us now...'
Gwynavere looked up a bit further just in time to see one of the archers aiming his bow toward her. She moved her head just in time, an arrow slammed into the tree next to her. A shallow cut on her cheek started to bleed.
'God damn that Enio.'
Gwynavere leapt from the tree to another, just as the previous tree erupted into flame and lightning struck it. Still Enios arrow kept coming hitting with accuracy, a gash on her shoulder was soon added to the scratch on her face.
'Shit this is going to be a tough one to get out of....'
Landing on the ground Gwynavere set off at a dead sprint she knew they where right behind her. Still Enios arrows where making dull thunks in the trees they simply didn't burst through. Gwynavere knocked an arrow and loosed it into the bushes around her, a yelp came from them and Suok the hunter fell to the ground clutching an arrow in his neck. Gwynavere kept running the flames from the first tree had spread rapidly, Now most of the forest was ablaze. She looked behind her stopping in her tracks, Enio walked through the flames his bow drawn and aiming straight at her. Enio let go of the arrow and it was as if in slow motion it made its way toward her chest. Gwynavere held up her hand and closed her eyes falling back. She felt an arm wrap around her waist and heave her to one side, her feet weren't touching the floor, someone was carrying her in the crook of their arm. She opened her eyes and saw Gawyn his red and gold armour being enhanced by the flames. Gawyn was crouched behind his shield, Gwynavere saw the splinters of Enio's arrow shattered by Gawyns shield.
'Thought I'd lost you...'
Gawyn ran with Gwynavere in the crook of his arm for a while, Enios arrows still making a smashing sound every time they hit Gawyns shield.
Gawyn put Gwynavere down and kissed her.
'Run I'll hold him off just run, AwD and the rest are waiting just over there'
Gwynavere looked at her lover in the flames his features where dark and heavy set, worry beset his face well underneath his permanent grimace of determination that was.
Gawyn unsheathed his spear and looked toward the flame.
'Run Gwynavere get the others fight in the dark we can win'
Gwynavere ran tears running down her face...

Kyrottimus and Klutu where walking cautiously through the forest, the flames blinding some views darkness covering others.
''This is useless, if compost and immune hadn't darted off when that hunter appeared we'd have at least some idea of where they where.'
Kyrottimus stalked through the forest, back to back with Klutu both their blades bared. Their eyes darting around the forest, jumping at movement that their eyes made up. A roar came from the trees and out of the flames jumped Prasutagus, out from behind a tree in the shadows came Ereinion Gil. Prasutagus came at Klutu with a cleaving slash from the leap. Ereinion came at Kyrottimus with a side swipe from his green tinted axe, the speed of it almost took Kyrottimus off guard.
'Jesus Christ you almost took my head off with that be a bit more careful next time you wanna get sued!?'
Klutu blocked the attack from Prasutagus, then retaliated with a kick to his gut. Prasutagus gasped and backed up against a tree, he got back up just in time to block a side swipe from Klutu. The two pressed their blades against one another, crossing their blade in front of each others chest.
Kyrottimus twisted his body turning his block into a vertical slash downward at Ereinion. Ereinion Gil simply stepped back and watched the attack miss. Ereinion stepped inside bringing his axe into a swipe at Kyrottimus's midsection. Without thinking the two barbarians turned back to back facing each others opponents. Klutu managed to parry Ereinions blow, Kyrottimus did the same with Prasutagus. Prasutagus smiled to himself and kicked Kyrottimus in the chest, he fell back into Klutu, Klutu was sent stumbling and hitting the ground. Ereinion Gil took advantage bringing his axe down. Kyrottimus saw this.
'Klutu look out!'
Kyrottimus lunged with his blade stopping Ereinions blow, but in turn was his final move. Prasutagus used the advantage, he stabbed his blade through Kyrottimus's spine and out through his sternum. Klutu raged and thrust his blade upward going through Ereinions chin, then through the roof of his mouth blood sprayed like a fountain covering Klutu and turning Kyrottimus's armor red. Kyrottimus fell to the ground and Klutu kicked Ereinion to one side, He got to his feet and faced Prasutagus. Prasutagus grinned with malice.
'Your mine now Klutu.'
Klutu gripped his blade gritting his teeth. They charged at each other, just before they crossed blades flame engulfed Prasutagus. His skin melted off his bone and he screamed up until all that was standing was a blackened charred skeleton bearing his white hot metal armor, the bone formed to ash around them.
Rhanya stepped from the flames the flames enveloped her fists and swirled in a vortex around her she seemed to glide into the clearing. In the blink of an eye she was back to being a normal looking woman again.
'hmm Kyro looks like he's had better days'
Klutu knelt against Kyrottimus. Klutu couldn't believe he wasn't dead but he was bleeding heavily he didn't have much left. Rhanya knelt looking at his wounds she shook her head slowly.
'I'm sorry...'
Klutu grabbed one of Kyrottimus's hands looking him in the eye.
'You hang in there Kyro your not gonna fail on me now'
Kyrottimus smiled and chuckled his last words
'That's.... what... your... m..m..mother..said last..... night'
he smiled and then gasped as his last breath escaped him.

Gawyn faced Enio and sprang toward him with a cry. He closed the gap but Enio darted through the trees Gawyn tried to keep up but the marksman kept running around the trees. Enio got an arrow off at Gawyn he deflected it with his shield and it hit the flaming tree behind him. The tree groaned and started to fall Gawyn dived and dodged the tree, it crashed and the flames jumped out onto other trees. The light turned to orange around him no shadow lurked around them any more. He saw Enio dazed by the fallen tree. He took the advantage and used a surprising path to get to him he ran along the fallen flaming tree and jumped in front of Enio. Enio looked surprised and Gawyn smashed his shield into Enio's face. Blood sprayed against his armour and Gawyn kicked Enio to the ground. Gawyn placed his spear onto Enios throat and looked around. All around them were walls of flame there was no escape for any of them. Gawyn sheathed his spear and kicked Enio's bow into the flames.
'DUDE THAT WAS AN EVENDIM BOW!'
Gawyn shrugged and took off his helmet and threw off his badly dented shield
'We're both as good as dead and to be perfectly honest if I'm going to die burning to death, I'd rather not give you the easy way out.'
Enio looked at him then shrugged and grimaced.
'How very thoughtful of you'
Gawyn started removing his metal armour, which was starting to glow. He produced two large cigars, a large branch fell just next to Gawyn and he lit the cigars on its flames and offered one to Enio.
'No thank you, those thing will kill you.'
Gawyn stared astonished at what Enio just said, he gestured around them
'I'm pretty sure Cancer wont kill you as fast as this fire will'
Enio shrugged and took one of the cigars.
Arcan passed over a flask of mead.
'drink?... Cigar for me have you young padawan?'
Gawyn took the flask and drank deeply then back tracked
'aww... shit'
Gawyn rolled forward picking up his spear, he pointed it at Arcan. The Utghar stood as if a knight with nothing to lose wasn't pointing a spear at his throat. Arcan pointed his staff at Gawyns face, his expression turned deadly serious.
'Ignis are running through the forest, you should find your beloved hunter before something nasty happens'
Gawyn looked shocked. Arcan shot a jet of ice from his staff over Gawyns shoulder, extinguishing a path in the direction Gwynavere ran.
'Go gwasshopper, meet your destiny you must. My best give your mother, Good lay she was. Right that is, your father I am'
Gawyn glowered at Arcan
'such a douche.. thank you for you generosity Arcan.'
Gawyn set off at a run in the same direction as Gwynavere.
Arcan turned to Enio.
'that's what his Mom said last night'
He handed Enio his bow he retrieved from the flames, both of them set off in the opposite direction.

Gwynavere ran hard through the forest, leaving Gawyn behind tears blinding her. She hit something hard and fell back. She looked up and saw a huge Molok staring back at her. Hated towered over Gwynavere and was a bit taken aback when she slammed into him. He swung his blade above his head, Gwynavere knocked an arrow and loosed it in a panic it hit Hated in the thigh but the barbarian kept swinging. Gwynavere rolled and the blade struck the ground kicking up soil. Hated grimaced in anger and scored his blade across the ground, Gwynavere sat up and rolled forward blade just missing her head and cutting off her ponytail at the back. When Gwynavere came out of the roll, Hated was already on top of her blade about to strike a death blow. There was a quick “thunk thunk” and hated fell to the side two arrows protruding from his neck. Kacper emerged from the darkness.
'Hey Gwyn, not interrupting anything was I'
Gwynavere hugged Kacper with gratitude.
'Gawyn needs our help, he was fighting Enio last I saw'
Gwynavere set off and Kacper grabbed her arm.
'Gwyn all of each realm is in this fight. Ignis saw the flames our scouts saw hundreds of them crossing PN, they are swarming all over this area. If Enio didn't kill Gawyn they would have. I came in the Syrtis army. Alsius also has back up too.'
Gwynavere touched her hand to her lips more tears escaping her, Gawyn wasn't joking when he said war....
