At the third part of the song, the part where Prince talks about not wanting to be king... Hehe, this will be good... Think of that whole section as how much most people are dependent on others and what they think of them... But when you know yourself completely... You need not one person... This is how you can make your own rules... Quote:

The next excerpt is from the XKCD forum:

In the end I think that kind of jealousy had some noticeable results in me. PS: She's just a friend now. Full stop

If there has to be a vocal, I use a dark one, or something from an opera, rarely classic or poppish like this one here's one I use for meditation though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7pfBETcSmg Quote:

However, mediation on music, for me, takes two paths... One path is just focusing on the lyrics of a song that I like and then trying to understand that person's perspective from what the lyrics are saying with the music as the supporting structure, whereby it enters the my mind... Once the lyrics of the song enter my mind I start to play with the meaning of the song, usually in the context of how the music that surrounds it stimulates my emotions... This causes connections to occur with what is said in the song, how it is played and the thoughts in my mind, experiences that have etched their way into my perception of the world... Doing this causes an infinite range of possible connections to occur, yet one must always keep grounded in the central theme of the song... However, its a good mental exercise to explore one's self, one's perception and also one's view of the world... The second path is focused on one note or a series of notes that elicit specific spacial patterns where you feel in your chest, and inner soul... This path is used for specific reasons, which I'm unwilling to get into right now (perhaps never), but know that using tones in this way in combination with meditation, and chanting can be very powerful... Quote:
Hehe, Xeph never to be out done... You obviously did it the right way though, for you're friends today... But I don't think it was jealousy... Perhaps the way that she spoke only brought to surface a glaring limitation that you always knew existed within yourself... She opened your eyes about a specific goal that you always wanted, but up till then never had the ambition to peruse... Having her do that freed you, made you stronger, better then what you were and gave access to other ideas (hence the freedom)... Thus she did not enslave you in hate, which jealousy is... |

Of course true love exists... don't you watch Hollywood movies?????
On a serious note, I'd say YES as well. I thought true love was an illusion, and I was fine planning to marry a cool chick who I would like a lot, have good sex with, and generally be able to not hate living with 24/7 for the rest of my life. Then I met my wife. True love exists. End of story.
