the first shot is the weapon damage the second is the spell. so for example if u was lvl 30 and u hit like 130 with ur dual shot the first arrow would be like 135 as the second would be like 80 or something close it. im not a short bow user but i have use the spell before is kinda wak. i rather stay with long bow and use shield pierce that is instent. but in any case i have notice that rep shot is vary powerful and a lot of the hunters use it wen they invicible i dont knwo the cool down on it im guessing like 3 sec.

[QUOTE=NightTwix]ok dualshot could be made a bit more powerful but not twice
rep shot is damn powerful. if you want to half the casting time then the damage should be halfed too [QUOTE] If this is an argument - there are some spells, which should have 10 secs casting time |

A short bow base shot does something in the region of 100-130 dmg. (My lvl 48 sh bow only does around 110.) So a dual shot that works properly would give around 200-260 dmg. This is not nearly the dmg of shield pierce, but it is about right for the mana cost and cool-down of the dual shot spell. This is what dual shot should do, but doesn't. |

dualshot should do weapondamage +100% as the description says. I agree. Instead it does the weapondamage +slashing damage (depending on the level of the spell) which is in the description as well. Maybe theres a misunderstanding what weapondamage +100% exactly means, cause there are a lot of warrior spells with this description which are far away from double base weapon damage. But hey, if dualshot gets changed to do two basic shots, then it should use up 2 arrows as well (and not none) |

Whichever way the spell works i think most people would agree that at lvl 5 dual shot should do around 250 dmg.
This is by no means excessive for a lvl 5 damage spell. |
