to team up up with guys from the other realm is fun for a night but i would never do that permanently.
i hang aroung with syrtis a bit lately but for other reasons than an alliance ^^ my guess is that alsius is looking for an alliance partner because they are outnumbered all the time. Today some stood at samal and clapped while we fought syrtis there, then they attacked the syrtis at the gate |

Several Cabras helped Ignis at stone again last night too (or tried to anyway). That's the second night in a row. Probably as many as 6. After we killed them, they didn't seem inclined to run all the way back to samal again. I don't much care, it just means more targets, which means more kills...
And IMO alsius is not outnumbered anywhere near as bad as it's made out to be. In fact, we have far more trouble with them at our forts then we do with ignis....far more trouble. Quote:
"FOCUS ON THE CABRAS" PS: It's not 'shouting' unless there's an exclamation point at the end of the sentence, but we won't let that little factoid get in the way of a good story. |

'In addition, other attributes, such as the use of profanity, all capital letters, or numerous punctuation marks at the end of a sentence in email messages, are sometimes said to be characteristic of flaming. In addition, some of the messages that scored high for flaming contained profanity, all capital letters, and excessive exclamation points or question marks, suggesting that messages containing those attributes could also cause potential conflict. Extejt (1998), in an article on email etiquette in the business arena, warns against using all capital letters in any context, noting that it is "the equivalent of screaming" (p. 63).' From the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication (JCMC) Volume 13, Issue 1, October 2007 http://jcmc.indiana.edu/vol13/issue1/turnage.html The study itself is very interesting with the use of a semantic scale they use called the The Message Invectives Scale. I include the link to the whole article for those interested. |

When you see an "!" at the end of a sentence, i'm shouting. If it's not there, i'm merely trying to increase the chance of my commentary (or key components of my commentary) being noticed amid the sea of jejejejejejej and w00ts. Simple as that. PS: The 'journal of Computer mediated communication', and anyone that thinks that particular ulber geek tank divines my intent or governs my actions when communicating in written English can kiss my Cap using ass. |

I can just see the debates in the dark ages between monks, "Brother Matthew, thou aught notst to put to parchment thine scripts in capitals, lest you be mistakenly accused of heresy and burnt at the stake as a screaming witch." lol Quote:
I think what the journal for whatever the hell it's called needs is some 'sensitivity training' with regard to the needs and feelings of the persecuted caps using segments of society. |
