I must admit, it does look like they eliminated most of the downsides to the changes. Time will tell.

anyone know if it is a server crash, or an update - was there a countdown to server closing?

Actually, there is only one thing I complain about - LAG. Outside of that, the developer crew for NGD do a HELL of a job providing this game to all of us. It is very clear that NGD has not only created a very decent game, but have fostered a great community.

NGD does an amazing job. I've been playing games online now for over 10 years and I've yet to find a commercial company that is so involved with the clients. And the community really is second to none. Aside from the ocassional pt/n00b/idiot comment the community is very supportive of eachother, and are always ready to give a helping hand in whatever you may need. Oh and Katie, we all get frustrated ocassionally, especially when it takes you all day to gain a single lvl or some clown that you believe has your back, turns tail and runs to mommy when it gets ugly. But that's when you just gotta step back, take a break and remember why you play this game. Enjoy it while it lasts. And bring back the old Nissan Toyota I remember
