Yes, it is 22.5 hp for 1 constitution.

yes constitution directly affect hp but i cant say the same thing for strenght. i have items that boost cons. and str., when i wear const. boost ring (+1) i see the change in hp but when i wear str. ring (+3) nothing change at my dmg. i tried it many times but still no change. also i tired wear str. (+1) amulet both together with/without str. ring and still no change. so either ring and amulet for str. are together buged or str. does not affect directly the dmg. for my barb.

1 strength point gives me 2 extra base attack.

Unequip your weapon then re-equip, you'll see the damage change.
