Even if someone was name "Jesus" It IS a valid spanish name for anyone, like "Javier" or "Marcos".

Syrtis warlocks bother me. As do "good" conjurers that summon demons. purely from an RP prospective.

I think the idea is that only withe magic can let life change planes.
However, black magic is the best to control those creatures, that´s why when warlocks take them they last forever.
