IF you need to capture all of a realms forts before you can destroy the gate, then for Ra it will proberly be neigh impossible, if you look at the map most of the time each realm holds all/most of its own forts, and if they dont, then they do soon after,

On Horus if you can gather the people its easy to go capture everything in the morning, so once invasions hit I think there will be action on Horus before Ra

I agree.

On RA I imagine we wont see any invasions for a long long time, because like you said, each fort is recaptured very quickly - meaning that there will rarely ever be a time where all of a realms forts / castles are lost.

However on Horus, it;s quite the opposite, where during off-peak times one realm can own ALL forts and castles, leaving both opposing realms open for invasion..

Alot of work and carefull thinking will be needed if Invasions are to going to be a hit.

On a side note... Has it ever been officially confirmed that capturing a realms forts / castles will mean Invasion?

I don't know what NGD staff have said, but this is what the NPCs say on it (I'm not sure exactly who):

The Kingdom has a zone reserved for novices that none of the characters from the other Kingdoms can reach.
After you have grown enough, you will be able to access the frontier zone of the Kingdom, which borders with the conflict area and is divided by a Great Wall.
Each Kingdom has such a wall and only that Kingdom's characters can pass through it.

However, when both the two forts and our Kingdom's castle have been taken up by another Kingdom the doors of the Great Wall will be open and any character from the other two Kingdoms will be able to invade ours.

The Conflict Zone is divided in three parts. Each one corresponds to its Kingdom, Ignis, Alsius and Syrtis.
On our side, there are two forts and a castle to group the soldiers. It is our first line of defense and therefore it must have the Alturians and Elves that are more able in combat.
A day will come in which our forces cannot hold the forts and the castle, and that day the Great Wall shall also fall. But today it's not that day. Today, we fight!

Should the Great Door be breached – may Lemorel not allow that to happen – believe me that you will know instantly because everyone will be in alert mode and the guards will run to protect the citizens.

Though these quotes also suggest that you won't need to destroy the great wall gate at all - it'll just open automatically.

It also clearly says that any realm will be able to invade the one which lost its forts and its castle... however it's not as clear if there must be one realm which captures all of the forts/castle, or if for example Ignis can capture Eferias, Herbred and Alsius Algaros.

Good point. I'd guess that it would be the latter, given the difficulty in holding enemy forts on Ra mentioned upthread.

i have a fealing syrtis on ra is gonna get teamed on, ignis all forts alsius our wall while half these idiots still at stone save screaming stone which is where this goes wrong....

no one will protect the wall they will just get a fort and its done.

so either walls are independent from forts (no more fort wars :P just quick wall zergs ^^) or they depend on the castles making it funner
