I am an Active (Well Sometimes) on Spanish(Español) Forum, I cant say write 10posts at day.
But i can say i read a lot. Yeah i think the same, "people are playing". And alot, I have a question Kailer, how if we need to talk, we contact you? I know and i understand its hard to answer A lot of Tasks. Sometimes Thousands, but how its the best way? I thought you were sometime a normal player of a Rol game, if you play one before being a Developer, because if you were a Developer before play, you feel like powerful and maybe you dont understand my point. I just want to be your Buddy, but you will say: ham, am a developer, he wants to be my buddy. He wants me to give him a 50 PJ or Talk.(?) That's why maybe you can't be my buddy. But trust me, nothing of that. Just Give me out of Douts please. I will Appreciate your prompt response Kailer. Regards. Jorge Span Rodulf. Knightmare 43. Age: 13 (Guatemala Language: Espanish)

I want you to have the proper answers, but sometimes there are none or I'm occupied with other issues and I will delay on providing them. If there is no answer at all please insist, as sometimes the load is such that I can miss some PMs. Regards,

The biggest change is the almost total elimination of conflict. I see in the posts over the last few months a meekness and lack of passion. Certainly passionate discussions can spill over to abuse or rediculousness, but it also makes for interesting reading. I see nothing wrong with strong opinions stated strongly and even some posts that throw an elbow, but without the occasional disagreement, things get boring.

What I think is that some people do not have the time to play this game anymore. Most of the people that I meet from day to day all say that they are running a Linux machine which means that some of them just play because it is the only option, while on Windows alot of the people that did play now moved onto the next big thing in the mmo community.
But to make it get to the point faster for some of the "special" users, the game is simply dieing because of lack of support in there eyes or that its just getting old. Of course I am just stating this as my own opinon and not whats really going on in the community. :3

No matter the game, it will allways grow old/ out of date eventualy, Go play some "classic" PS1 games you used to think were "awesome" the gameplay may still be the same but in most cases it feals "old" and you would rather do something else,
Same with Regnum eventualy It will need new gameplay styles (class's?) or just a new look (land expansion/graphical overhall)

Regnum still owns WoW imo.
I mean WoW.... its just... not wow. Ugly pink, blue, purple, and green characters like migdits, orcs, some halfdead things, to top it off with graphics worse than a N64 (not that I hate the N64 :>) Ive never played it, but I think I would die if I did, I hear there are large scale bans on a daily basis, where you grind your ass off to get banned in the end. Meh, what can I say for a game I never played, but at least Ive learned whats a real game, not some grind based gameplay in killing the same thing over and over without reason. This is wow Sorry but I prefer a game that sticks to some normal aspects, full fantasy isn't for me, I like traditional roleplay that pulls me into its world. Regnum has more reality than some "world of the masses"..... "hey do you play WoW??!?! OMG yeah, EVERYONE plays it!" Why should I be like everyone else :P Im just myself, maybe thats wierd but thats me ;P Quote:
The farther gaming gets the shittier it becomes because you get less and less talented people in it, thats my theory at least, and the worst thing of all is when they remake a game, my god it can ruin the whole thing. They wanted to make Loz:TP a remake of OoT, im thankful they didn't. all it makes it little wannabe's who act like they know something about a game that came out decades before them, hell maybe im a wannabe to some extent, but I at least understand the passion which is everything im saying now. everything now has no meaning, and few games are real gems. I agree with Aries, if you saw what the game was like a year ago you'd shit your pants, Missing so many things, I mean it still is now, but its been a ton of stuff, you should know, you joined in July. Some points in a game may seem interesting at start, this will either go out or get more interesting depending on if you like the game itself or you're just being (I forgot the word for it but when you stick your nose a lot of places). Let's take a few examples. Regnum: why do I like regnum? I like playing against real people, see how they would work up some kind of strategy, then try to overcome the challenge, fighting a neverending war where strategy was a big part of the game (now it's luck) Winning or losing is just a result, it's while you are fighting the fun part is or you'll never have fun with a game. Not so long ago we fought with alsius (they didn't use luck spells) so it was one hell of a fight to fight and it was funny, it's a shame the other team had low levels and not such a good cooperation as usual. Or when three syrtis clashed with three ignis and we had some very very good fights, it was very very enjoyable frets on fire: This game is fast paced, you have to think fast and "play" music, as I like music a lot this is probably one of the only single player games I play. shredding solos is just awesome, the faster and more complex the better people afraid to get banned and therefore does not post. discussions have been made a thousand times about the same thing, people doesn't want to go over them again, the game is imbalanced, this we know. The thing is that kailer is right, the inn... kinda the only place to play around at the moment Last edited by Adrian; 12-16-2008 at 01:35 PM.
