One more thing that I still don't see mentioned a lot: vital abpsortion. It's a wonderfoul spell, even more in the hands of a class that can deal as much damage as the lock and it's fantastic for lvling. For example, lvl 51 royal aquantis have 1800 hp so with lvl 5 vital abpsortion you'd get averagely 180 hp each aquantis you kill. With a barrier, even if they reached you, they'd hit for 0 a couple of times, so you'd get that little life assured. And mobs die like flies in the hands of a lock.
I strongly advise you to try that spell out, it kept me going at lower levels when I couldn't afford necromancy lvl 11 (for lvl 3 vamp) while I had several damage spells necesary to grind non stop and ambitious sacrifice at 3, wich took plenty of life from my little lock. You won't have that problem, you'll be able to have all the spells you need, but still, try it out. It's great. |
