imo auras take too long to cooldown and i hate "leeching" far too many knights i see follow me casting deflecting barrier..when im fighting melee mobs..or stars shield..yay..and HP is far too short to be a good support spell while grinding for the cost..

but if you dont mind it i guess they could level fast..i just prefer to actually do it myself rather than stand around and spam auras no one needs.

not saying thats what you do, as i dont know what auras you use, im just saying..the majority of knights im pestered by follow me with auras that help me in no way whatsoever for the mob im fighting.

I see marks low on some lists. Recharged arrows, wits, range passive, a few choice pieces of jewlery, and kite back with short med or short fast. Blue mobs almost never touch me unless I get an aggro joining in, or start the attack from too close of a range. Mana is almost always full too. Haven't had to stop except for aggro pulls.

I would set the list like this
Conjurer
Warlock
Marks
Hunter
Barb
Knight

Of course if the knight uses auras its somewhat different. But following players that dont want you auras is bad. But if some high lvs from your clan are grinding together, why dont join in =P They dont need their xp, but you need it bad XD

A barb lv fast with a conju, but has to rest much if hes alone grinding

Hunter dont have to rest as much as warriors and has a tanker(pet(since its not ranged its a bit low on the list))

Marksman kills fast and has nice range, still have to rest sometimes

Warlock has ways to drain mana, and their mage spells can steal/create mana. They also got the deadly SM if they want to

Conjurer has its own ranged tanker. He can heal, and ways to refill mana, so no need for resting. Also SM + Zarkit = Dead Mob.

Hey GoS. Don't go after the easiest class to level. Go for a class you really want to play. The worst thing to have is a character you spent time to grind only to find out you don't enjoy playing it.

Marksman next. seriously...if you know what you're doing, you shouldn't have to rest. A marksman can usually kill the mob before it gets close enough to hit ya.

Even worse is to spend all that time and then figuring out you picked the wrong realm too :S

Conju
Warlock
Marks
Hunter
Barb/Knight - depends. I've played in Syrtis RA and Alsius Horus. On syrtian Elther beach in peak hours knight with auras is, imho, faster to lvl than barb(actually its faster to lvl than archers too, but u have to play in right realm/server/hours). In small groups and solo lvling barb is way faster than knight, though. Overall I'd say knight is slower.

In my experience both of the mage classes are quickest to lvl because of their mana/health skills.

EDIT: speed of lvling is not the right reason for chosing a class.
