No, but +100 years of burning large quantities of fossil fuel did speed up the process a bit. On the other hand, we'll be running out of fuel "soon" (just think about all the legacy tech you should change), and population growth isn't helping.

yeah... many things we have been doing these last 100 years to accelerate the problems in this world... alot of things are happening and alot else will be here... just we have to take a desition of change now...

It's clearly the George W. Bush legacy. Take a look at the number of companies that ran into the ground conveniently just after he left the administration of them, and now he's just left the presidency of the United States. When one thing goes crashing down, all things connected to it are pulled on their tight strings....

The deregulation of pollution producing industry.
Failure to explore alternative power sources and
6 years of Haliburton pumping unmetered stolen oil from Iraq all
products of the "conservative" administration of the last 8 years.
I'm at a loss to see what it was they were conserving. Certainly not
clean air or water.
The question here really is; Would evil men commit global murder to steal
TRILLIONS of dollars?
There is good news though. I am so old I probably wont live long enough to
see the tragic end. (I didnt say it was good news for you)

For them (Banks owners) it's never too easy to make virtual money and then push the guilt on people saying we've made too many debts. When we are born we live in debt already. Look at this. It says, you pay for your debt :P or at let's say, one pound in GB "I promise to pay the bearer on demand the sum of one pound"

Come on! How could we be NOT in a crisis?

what's the point in letting various countries take neverending loans? It's like telling a kid to not eat the candies and leaving it in a candy store all alone.

But still I wasn't really worried about end of the world and climate change, goddammit. I was concerned what's wrong with people lately

I was just concerned about tragedies lately and that people don't learn. One crash happened, Airbus promised to pay more attention to their plane's health, then more accidents happened and now it looks like no one really pushes them to do anything about it. Same with protecting floodplains. People prefer to spend ridiculous amounts of money to pay Kylie Minogue for a concert than to rise anti-flood shafts. (like it happened in Poland).

Well as to the air industry having so many unscheduled layovers in fields,
oceans and peoples living rooms.... it all comes back to deregulation and
who profits from it.
They like to say its an accident or a mistake, but I say if someone makes a
mistake and it puts money in their pocket;expect them to make that mistake
again and again and again... ad nauseum infinitum. Thats pretty much whats
wrong with people.
Good post though, great to see people thinking and being concerned.
