When attacking a realm gate, there's a graphic representation of how badly damaged it is, so I'd like to see something similar applied to fort/castle doors, perhaps updating the damage graphics every 10%, so you actually start to see dents, holes and cracks appear in the door the closer you get to breaking it down.

It also allows you to determine whether it's worth potentially sacrificing yourself to defend the castle or if you should just wait for the reinforcements.
