162 includes many of our alts and some of us have a lot of alts. I for example have 4 chars, some have all subclasses. The current count is at 31 active individual players not including alts.
Add to that, NGD doesn't give us proper stats on user activity. We did a clan cleaning once and we brought down our numbers from almost 200 to the current number.

Not being evil here either and to be honest it probably wont make a difference to any kind of ranking situation you have but 29 x 3-4 = 87-116 active characters.
As far as i believe every clan is not as active as they would like. Death has 64 members i have 3 alts as does angel_de_combate all of which are in the clan most of our members have 2 - 3 alts and we are due to clean up i would say Death has 15-20 members who are active within the group. (our 64 members includes 6 banks to) Still we do have people who fall by the wayside as do every clan. |

If you add Alts and old hangers on who dont play much but just log into chat sometimes then most clans are probably mostly active for the most part if they "clean" well. But who gives a monkeys about the ranks anyway, they dont confer to anything usefull in game other than having every powerhungry newbie trying to get into "The Best Clan" ofc we all know, a clan is ranked by a realm on its members not its gold, rp, xp etc... so there is no "Best Clan" other than whatever clan you are in

Rankings were never a priority or goal of the clan. Actually removing inactive players will make the clan look much better in paper since you get a higher rp to player ratio. We did consider cleaning the clan more than once, but we eventually decided not to. Inquisition was always meant to be a clan of friends. You don't stop considering someone to be a friend just because he/she hasn't been logging in often enough.

The problem is the game has little content to attract the players attention, and in order to GET more content the players have to post in the suggestion thread so NGD can see what we think. After posting the community then needs to give feedback on the idea so NGD can decide weather to put it in or not. my suggestion is to start checking the suggestion forum as much as you can.

I am glad there are non INQ players who are showing care for our clan According to fresh statistics from our forums(done September the 1st, last list update was 6.9.), there are 35 active players listed. Part of them I rarely see, because they are in our, as I d like to call, "night shift" (big hug to Thistle, Acknor, Whiprock and all other guys I didn't see for a long time due to time zone differences and holidays). So, if we do some math, there are 90 members left that are: unidentified, inactive, on break, communication chars, players who asked me not to remove them so they can stay in touch etc. And they have alts, too. Now, from start, we were doing even weekly clan cleaning, but after some time, it showed its not a good thing, and one of main reason is friendships we built, and some "experiences" we had as a result of cleaning. We do periodically various of analysis, just to keep track clan's progress and what/where/when we can improve some "weak" spots (like "night shift" population, because they are important part of our clan too) or enhance good ones (opening new Mumble server, setting identification system, Mumble previewer on site (INQ members visible only) etc). I say, analysis takes your time you could spend in game, but can really help in some situations, if they are done objective.

You cant get far without back up either :P Since you know, it is a a team game after all. So the only person who cares how well you fight solo is you. Also no INQ member I know of has ever flipped out like this, now if the only posts you can make are aggressive flames trying to get a reaction, the get the fuck out of my forum
