The main thing I'd like to see is the penalty (archers / mages) for moving during battle removed. I don't know why is was introduced in the first place, but I can only imagine it was warriors whining about being hit from 30 metres. Thing is, my marks has been pwnd by barbs and knights as many times as I've killed them. Yes, I could hit them plenty before they ever got to me but when they eventually did I had almost no chance. Along with attack speed increase it makes no sense at all! It is laughable that an archer will stand there like an idiot taking in the scenery for a few seconds before starting to fire arrows like a machine gun. It doesn't take a genius to work out that less damage per hit + more hits per time period = the same. Only now the firing speed is just hilarious.

Anything else (clan banks, crafting, etc.) will be a bonus.

While only newish to the game i would really like to see quests beyond lvl 40.
For some people, those were a very enjoyable part of the game. When its quiet in WZ, all there is to do is grind or watch others dance at a save.

I like the transfer idea mentioned above for sending items to your alt char's. (instead of holding up someone while you trade, change char's and trade back).

Perhaps a tab you can click on that highlights your name in the chat or clan box to notify others at a glance if your available for or seeking grinding parner/s at that time?

Maybe a bit far fetched but anyway.....
An optional trainer you can really train with - ie - for new players or those players testing setups - as in actually dueling with you while teaching you how to improve technique with tips as you fight.
For example when i got to lvl 30 and able to enter wz i knew of fighting mobs but nothing of fighting against another person. Perhaps thats what the arena is for? I dont know I never go there.

This is excactly what i have in my mind, its not step forward to make the game static from view of fighting, its a wide step back!
I'm wondering how long will it take before NGD realize the fact that nerfing and ruining gameplay doesnt help.
Once they introduced this "rule" they should add the same for spells. Spells should be able to be casted only when you stand still for a period of time (depending on weapon's speed)
Its reasonable mainly for mages....

I will put in my opinion....first about the idea earlier of archers movement penalty - I would like to see this decreased a little but not entirely removed and here is why: before this was implemented killing a warrior, in pvp and rvr situation both, was just too easy. Without movement penalty kiting a warrior until he was dead was just kids play, and even still it takes a bit of brains to catch a good archer. So there is my reasoning behind that.

As for my little wish, I would love to be able to support my knight without having to grind 4 hours to get enough gold to pay for my single repair bill!! I can hit close to 200K of repairs per trip to the merchant for that reason. Even with 8-10 million gold it will not be long before I am broke

Just two simple and critical things about how the game functions, not really about it's content:

-No combat mode for spells that aren't clearly offensive. Hitting control all the time is very unergonomic and doesn't add anything meaningfull to the game.

-Allow us to disable mouse turn or to remap it into an other mouse key, so it doesn't mess up targeting.

These should be rather easy to do and would improve game play especially for some classes a lot.

when (before the 1.0.8) i use the hunter is really really easy to NOT die and
kill ppl of higher lvl than me (knight and barbs), simply moving away and
firing.... was unreasonably easy...i stop using the hunter for the feeling of
unfair fight with melee classes.
Then i start a new char, doing a knight to see why they are so underrated
and easy to kill (to my point of view).

Later come the patch and i can see that now finally is a bit fair the fight
by archers (in generals) and melee
(before was nearly impossible to be hit by a knight...simply move around and
fire was enough to keep him occupied slowly lowering his health..)

ok it's a game, but in reality FIRE an arrow with a longbow running is NEARLY
impossible...
try it if you can, and you'll admit that to fire with a bow you have to stay
well positioned and standing (or in a horse.. but is another matter..and with
a sb only)

marks need to keep the distance, when the charge of melee reach you it's
obviusly clear that you need to move away...
you'll never be able to fire a shot to a melee ppl that stand in face of you...
NEVER.. after the point-blank distance simply is impossible..

Also this game is too crowded with Ranged attack, so maybe this can
help reducing the number (or raising thenumber of melee ones)

- remove regeneration spam in log
- platinum weapon box for barbarians should give only 2h weapons;
- remove phantom hits
