So, to understand how you are connected and to ensure you are understanding of how to are connected, how do you connect? Wireless? Ethernet? What type of modem do you have? Brand and Model would help me in determining if it has a built in router.

They are persistant that they only have Windows firewall, and I am not sure if it even has program/application control capabilities built in...

I was able to make exceptions for both the exe files and all the listed ports in Windows firewall. In the exceptions tab when you run > firewall.cpl you can do all of that.

XP, yes. My connection is a USB wireless widget. Plugged right into the USB slot. Right now my download speed is slower than usual at .99Mbps and...latency is 101 ms. I think that might be because of the weather though. My connection is usually faster than that.

If I don't go to bed, I am going to fall off my chair. I appreciate your help so very much and I will check back tomorrow to see any more posts.

Hopefully we will be able to figure it out.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. How I got introduced to Regnum was a friend of mine asked to borrow my wireless USB widget because their internet was down, and they played Regnum with it, so I know this particular wireless USB widget can connect to regnum, but my friend's system was a Vista system, and mine is XP.

Your wireless adapter (widget) is an adapter for wireless in your home or wireless for nationwide wireless? Meaning... can you leave your home and connect anywhere you can get phone service? Or only at home and only at hot spots? Brand and models help me alot if you can tell me.
