someone noob told what i'm playing only for WM... two days ago i got WM on barb... nothing special.
why i still playing? maybe i play not often ... after hard work a bit... maybe i play random class chars now i trying conjurer... for me its interesting... i can't playing only one char.
for me... if i havn't hard (phisical, emotion) day - i can't playing lol

I bet taking a real break for a while will make 'miracles' happen.

Afther that break you will be dying to talk to your realm mates again
and crush some new enemys in wz
(i actually once had the feeling that i wanted to grind O.o)

(also when you cant play the game/not allowed/not possible..
its much more fun to play it than when you have all the time in the world)

How to enjoy regnum 101

(Grinding)
Gather your xp in groups. Do area leveling vs 12 monster or more at the same time!

(Grinding)
Do it to see how many drops you can make and what drops are worth keeping.

(Hunting)
If you are not a hunter, hunting in horus can make you want to wish you were never born. Try going to areas where people love to train.

Tad extreme? Horus is extremely crap for hunting, unless you really love to gank people. ^^

I'll never join Syrtis. Anyway, I'm laughing so hard right now because it seems like quitting is a core part of Regnum. I've been gone for a month and still don't feel like playing. Just afraid that one of those newbies that I gank on my higher levels will become 60 WM when I get back.

"Taking a break" does indeed seem to be a core part of Regnum, but I'd say its also essential for a healthy life balance, MMO's are meant to be played for a long long time, to keep you interested and give you stuff to do for months on end, some do this better than others.

In Regnum it boils down to grind or war (war on Horus being mostly about waiting) You can't just do those 2 things over and over without giving yourself variety in between, so play something else, do something else.

Speaking as someone who used too frequently put in far more hours per day then I should have, variety is the spice of life, Regnum is fun now and again, but it shouldn't be your "main" leisure activity, its just gets stale too quickly*, particularly if you've been playing for years, this is why I won't ever gain another level unless NGD does something amazing.

*Major problem in a game where grind is so friggin slow and you need a high level to really take part in the "fun" bit of the game.

I was thinking about a break time from me too...actually it happened...for 2hours After that 2hours I saw the merge Horus+Raven...which I said to myself...RO is gonna get a bit more exciting, hell no im gonna miss that!

Oh right I forgot to say something on topic... erm, yeah, just keep taking your break until you feel the urge to come back. Trust me it can take a while. The longest I went was 2 months, others have gone for a year or more though lol.
