well, we will start testing at least a month before the release... its a big change and we have to test compatibility and stability on a lot of HW configurations...
anyway, there are no set dates yet... we are kind of working with a when it's done mindset, we just want to get it out soon... not only because of the graphnical enhancement but also because it will fix a lot of other problems (like hickups when you aproach a group of players or a big city for example) |

A chill feeling went down my spine.
Just to clarify, Regnum looks like the shadows video on the new engine. It doesn't look like the Tower Demo which basically contains new art assets (some of them based off current Regnum models). The Tower demo really has a lot of juice into it (normal mapping, volumetric smoke, view distance as far as China, etc) and we used it to experiment on new techniques regarding both art and tech departments. Although, you can rest assured our next games (?) will use this technology and similar/better quality in terms of art. Regards P.S.: Btw, the shadows video really doesn't make it justice until you see it running. Also, with a little more time, we will be able to implement more graphical goodies in the future thanks to an ongoing revamp.
