Finally, a good MMORPG with native linux client !
No need to harvest during ages like in EL.... nice.... Oh wait.... quests .... nice.... Weird, i'm alone in a mmo.... (Horus) Hmmm, quests are boring.... no need to think.... just run, kill, run, get item, run to there, kill,.... Weird.... realm vs realm.... but not until i can survive more than 10 seconds in WZ.... grind grind grind during ages, no interest.... let's go further and see if this game has some interest at all.... after all not many choices for linux users.... Aaaahh, WAR !! Life expectancy is rather short though.... kinda fun .... let's buy some xim to thank NGD for this fun time.... Damn !!! bugs are not only mobs in this game..... Nice !! forums, bug report system,... i can help with bugs finally.... well, hmmmm, perhaps not finally.... Great !!! an update ..... bug fixes !!! .... well, hmmmmmn, perhaps not finally..... I'll wait a bit before buying new Xims.... ..... .... let's play to this game until something better come out for us linux users (perhaps next year... just the time to level up to 50.... or may i will finally run some W$ games, a lot of choices, or buy that new PayStation.... or spend more time in coding.... or just stick to RL....)

i had just quit LOTRO, cuz it cost too much. and played this, reminded me a lot of lotro, final fantasy, and dark age of camelot, except free and better pvp.

I was dragged here by a friend (who left his knight a month later at lvl 28). My first thought was "Ignis is so empty, only a cliff with some bugs to kill and emptyness below... and a settlement by the emptyness". "Pet hienas look cute ^^"
That only lasted untill I explored some more and found allahed arteria "so big and confusing! I'm so lost", lookout point "hidden place == nice view" and the hidden oasis of yelamid "and again an awesome little place in the middle of a dry land. How can nobody know of this place? it's so awesome! hmm I think I can click this shiny sto... POOF!" "Medenet Desert" "oh no oh no oh crap this gotta be the war zone everyone's been talking about... shit shit shit run". |
