Rules state that u cannot speak about games that have similar content to regnum online.
We are speaking about game that are totally different in their conceptions from Regnum Online.I THINK there is no risk. |

Believe it or not, majority of mmo'ers prefer PvE to PvP. I know that sounds outrageous to us because the reason we love this game so much is because most of us are hardcore PvP players. There's no thrill like fighting enemies with a brain with realistic reaction and not a pre-programmed intelligence.
But for some reason most online gamers are 'carebears' or so they call them. The perfect game would have an even balance of PvP and PvE which is why World of Warcraft has been so successful and probably why Guild Wars 2 is going to be too. In terms of RvR I unbiasly believe Regnum Online is the best and would be more widely recognized once all these bugs are fixed and more content is added. |

A depressing statement even of itself; this is the best RvR on offer.
..Four more days.

When I started playing this game around 3 years ago with a good friend of mine we were both unbelievably loyal to Alsius, seriously it was ridiculous but it was fun. The feeling you got for fighting along your friends, allies, seriously awesome feeling. Nowadays, I don't know why, but the feeling is just different and gone. I guess it has to do with the fact that all my reallife friends play on a different server, so I basically just stopped playing. Anyway, maybe if I would play GW2 for a month or something and I would get a hang of it I might like it. But too bad im in-tolerant towards playing new games hehe. TL;DR : Regnum indeed is the best promising game there is, without a doubt for me.. And factions are one of the main reasons |

LoL sorry Shwish . Yeah i noticed i told again what he already explained :P . On topic,no way u can find another RvR like regnum, with 3 race and every one with his own story. Regnum was my first love..thanks to Linux...I was testing Linux for a week some year ago,and looking for a game i found Regnum Online...and..it was immediatly love. This was the strongest point of RO..a free game for Linux platform. I still remember my first week in this game...all the search i have done because i was playing without audio (libopenal file..and still now when i format Linux i must manually reinstall .libopenal to hear the sound ) ; First time i gone in war zone..my gosh..is still incredible remember it was simply fantastic..i was zerged near trelle forest, and didn't know i was that far from my realm. Without any conception of zerg, gears,Op gears,Clan,Realm, balance, bugs, fixes or all the things i look now in a different way(and yeah, was better watch all this world without any of the conceptions i have now) . The inner was full of ppls spamming in global chat to find a legion with their native linguage. Ahahah..nice to remember..really nice . Ops again offtopic :P (sorry for my english) |

Regnum is by far the best pvp/rvr game I've ever lucked out on finding. It's seriously a hidden jewel, no other game comes close to the free amount of pvp and rvr here even with all the bugs I keep coming back for moarrrrrrrrr.
On topic, I am gonna try guild wars 2, but ro will always be my main source of online madness

I'm assuming that when speaking negatively about another game we aren't allowed to mention its name? The company that produced the above game has another two faction RvR game which I found to be pretty awesome aside from the fact that its a "pay2win" game. Some very unique classes and races. Also when I refered to Regnum Online as being the best in its genre I forgot to mention that its only amoungst the free to play games. |
