Actualy I agree, Syrtis population should not be directly decreased (although slowing down its growth by redirecting new players to other realms is acceptable), but Ignis and Alsius populations should be encouraged to grow.

While Syrtis is running out of players to face, many players from the other realms don't want to get farmed. Syrtis moves to Samal with many more people than Ignis, Igneans don't go there because they would just get killed again...is that so strange?

It isn't strange, but people are flamming syrtis for invading so much.
I dont like it too, but i don't think its odd, when we go aggers and samal and we face only 5 enemies.
No wonder a zerg wants some action, so we even split up with a castle group.
And we hope to call out all enemies to charge the fort and/or castle, so we get some decent fights
