I'm quite tempted to do a 50-50 area mix of Composite Scale (good protection against archers and warriors, awful protections against mages) and specialist (the reverse of the above).
If I run into archers and warriors now I can really take some damage, but I go down really fast in terms of damage absorption taking on mages. As long as I can make it look flattering a combination to average the resistances out a little would be really cool I'm starting to thing...

I now have a delightful combination of composite scale breast plate and gauntlets over specialist leggings and pauldrons, with a duelist helmet (as composite scale and specialist helmets look *so* ugly)...
It works well, no blanket high damage loss against fire and lightning anymore, and it looks quite cute... Trix is pleased

Ive picked the Master helmet now which looks like a bathing cap but that still looks less gay than the composite specialist which makes you look like batman i've also thought about a proper armor mix, have too see how it works out. and i have a new bow spending 500k gold is always a good experience |
