Where are honor and grandeur in warzone ?
Honor: To kill as much of the enemy as you can.
Grandeur: To kill more of the enemy than your allies.

To say the exact opposite of what the Red Baron once said to the pilots he was training, "we're butchers, not sportsmen".

It's tough love baby.

I have to stand with Rezekstanian a bit on this one. Regnum is a harsh, cruel place already without running up and killing off a "very easy" for the fun of it. I play Regnum not just for the fun of killing but for the last dying bits of chivalry that are still out there. Today me and three others let go an "easy" ignis because there was really no point in killing him. (Granted, we got him down to 10 hp, but that wasn't my doing ). I think Regnum would be a much less hate-filled place if there was more of that kind of spirit. Wars are more than smash the other guy harder than he smashed you. There's a bigger victory to be gained.

No, you are a terrorist in the warzone. Your objective is to inflict as much damage on the enemy as possible. Granted it is nice to have a good fort war, but other than that it is kill or be killed. Every enemy spared is just another enemy to kill you when they get the chance. Mercy only bites you in the ass.

No offense, but attitudes like those are exactly the reason that mercy oftentimes bites you in the rear. Even if I am in the small minority, I prefer my chivalrous ideals to what seems like nothing but rp greed or a "kill em all win em all" way of thinking.

Hmmm..<thinks a bit>.. why did you get him down to 10 hp only to let him go ?..that seems a bit pointless if you really wanted to chivalrous..you would just let him go..end of. If you start letting the easy ones go..they come back with their "harder" mates and beat the sh*t out of you. Im all for chivalry(not much of it in real life either), but really it only ever happens when you know the other char from the realm, other than that you paste em

I second this, also just because you are able of being an asshole doesn't mean you have to be one.
there's someone controlling the other char you're killing too who might not be having fun with what you're doing.

thank you a common mistake in online games is that people forget they aren't fighting npcs or bots like in single player games but human people, imagine if everyone in soccer punched the teeth out of the opponent when no one was looking (or any other sport)
