Personally mate, I just find it funny that you play a RvR oriented MMO and do not partake in any RvR activities

There's nothing wrong about kiting in this game, and he's pretty good at it. Second, well, PvP is a pretty stupid thing in this game, because of the complete imbalance between classes, and also between stuff. A hunter does much more "PvP" you think, since we fight 1vs1 very often (imho much more than any class), many hunters are far better than me at 1vs1 fights. Warlock's players like to think they are great players because they are winning PvP fights with their deadly chains, good for them. They are training in arena to find the perfect sequence in a defined situation. This is why they are bad at RvR, situation is always changing. Still, i know good Pvpers which are also good at war, one is in the list of people "you cannot find alone in warzone": Jakob, i guess he will always accept to pvp anyone (this is why the comment was pretty lame, most of characters listed are played by good and nice players). PS: i cannot write here what i think about attacks concerning people's nationality. PS2: who think i'm using confuse(5) don't know me. Who is asking a hunter to not use confuse should try to play one. PS3: who is judging someone after the way he's playing a character forgot the RPG part of MMORPG.

I know
Bad at RvR? You really think that someone who is good in PvP is bad in RvR? We both know which kind of battles recuire more skill; PvP thats a solid fact and if you really want to discuss about that prepare too see your arguments shut down. Yeah it was Such a vicious attack from my side, Poor you. |

Lock is a good chosie if u want to pvp, prolly second best after mark
Killing grinders with a high lvl lock under horn? eh that was really no challange, dident do that much. Good lock RVR now thats another thing, u will soon be badly targeted and u need really good timing to turn the tide of the zergs, wich i still think is the locks main value. Nice vid, keep it up /Ani |

Every class has their own deadly chains. if you want to play your class well, first step, you have to know the timing of each spells and how they chain together to form a deadly attack sequence at ANY point in time. people go to arena to get to know their spells and timings as well as their unique spell chains as a first step, not just "PvPers" but EVERYONE. These are like textbook stuff, predefined stuff but you have to learn them first before u can utilize them freely and be able to improvise in a real combat situation. Since you dont know if any one of the spells will get resisted, ur reaction time, reflex and your ability to fluently switch in between quickbars play a major role too. All of which can be practised and trained in arena. but the function that arena serves is very limited because it is NOT real like it is in the warzone where ppl can strafe, dispell, treehugging, play RvR and all sorts of things. ppl tend to think that "pvpers" don't know how to war because they don't have the situational awareness, concept of supporting ally, or in a nutshell the mindframe to play as a team because "pvpers" are trained only to deal with 1 target with a predefined chain? Nothing is predefined in wz. nothing is certain in the wz. things always change, even when you run into a pvp situation ppl can be popping out of nowhere during the fight. you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times. you have to provide necessary cover, support and dispell, horn to the ppl around you at the right time. it's not like the "pvpers" don't have such quality in mind. it's that certain ppl prefer a more challenging way of life by going solo against multiple targets in the wz and try their best to survive and make the best fight out of it. also keep in mind that in the warzone most of situations that "pvpers" encounter are pvR, 2vsR, or 3vsR, not 1vs1. RvRers and PvPers are bascially seperated by class differences. As melee warriors and conjurers they serve best in RvR. as hunters, marksman and warlock, the offensive disciplines however have the options to go either RvR oriented or PvP oriented. killing a player in pvp doesn't make one better than the other in the warzone because of the class imbalance. for me what really matters is try your very best in every fight that you encounter in the wz no matter how strong or overnumbered the enemy is as long as you have tried ur best you are a winner already. "pvpers" in the warzone do not go ask for pvps. if they meet 1 person they will fight 1 person. if they meet multiples they will fight multiples. if they are with a group they will fight with the group. They are the true alpha dogs that fears nothing. warlocks in particular have the spell versitility to take on any class at will in single or multiple forms and with the help of the terrains, they are invincible. NGD made them like that way and it's only natural for warlock to go solo and be categorized as "pvpers". jakob is a knight. He is a great pvper as I have said many many times on the forum but the true strength of the knight class lies within the group and that's the reason why "you can't find him alone" in the warzone. I guess jakob chooce to go to a more favorable/suitable way for his class(RvR), whereas I picked the pvp way of life simply cuz it serves warlock better. Hunters can go both ways but the trend is more toward RvRs with the simple "camo, confuse/distract/caltrop" sequence. As you have seen, that the players are looking for the easiest and most appealing way to play each class based on the changes made on each update. back on topic tho, my point is pvp sets the basis for RvR action. to be good at a class you gotta learn to pvp well first and then go larger scale. for ppl that claims that they are good in RvR but not pvp, it's sort of saying you have skipped a step and jumped right into RvR and your foundation is weak (hand techniques). I've always trained and played in the WARZONE as "pvper" cuz I like the adredaline each encounter gives me You don't often see me in fort wars doesn't mean I don't play fort wars and doesn't mean I'm not good at fort wars. I might not be as effective in the fort war compared to other warlock because I don't have area spells like twister, summon lightning and terror. but that doesn't mean i don't know how/when to use them in RvR. "pvpers" are not neccessarily bad in RvR. only their setup is not optimal for RvR but set for both RvR and PvP and that they find hunting more appealing than farming/zerging? There is no fair pvp or RvR fights in the warzone. The side with more numbers or with a better composition of classes win. and thx to beacons, there is even less tactics involved in RvR.... Sorry about this 1000 word essay i put up in front of you. if you don't want to read it, skip it and save yourself from the upcoming endless and pointless flame war. so sorry...i just felt the absolute need to express myself again. btw i make videos to show other warlocks how to be an effective killer in the warzone, not to make up new playing styles eveytime to entertain ppl. for me playing warlock is serious business.
