I just read that her 18 year old daughter is pregnant with 17year old kid for more than 5 months. Is that very Cristian thing to do? HA!
Good parenting or simply a bad kid?

I think in order for you to understand that issue is to set aside any preconceptions you might have about what, who christians are...

Also it's rather unfair to blame the parents for the child getting pregnant...

Yet sex education is taught in public schools around the US, so her child understood the concept of contraceptives and knew where to go to get them, and also use them...

And another thing is that its rather common for teens to be pregnant in the US now, so in really its not out of the norm...

It's been like that since the late 80's...


So to end this I think it's really unfair for you to blame any parent for what their child does, especially being only one year away from being considered an adult by law.

Excuse me i fell pregnant at 17..does that automatically make me a bad parent too >.>..How old you are does not imply whether your capable of raising your kids in the right way..what you just said is bloody crap !!!!

However for all her good points, your really think shes up to it H_B are you just in love with her..cause it sounds like it..Maybe you should walk around with a plackard saying "I Love Palin"..Whos knows ! :P

This was the whole point of bring this thread into existence, to gage if the guys here would be threatened by her. Hence the picture of her in the first post.

But to tell you the truth I can't tell if they are, even though I tried to refocus the conversation (silently) on this subject many times.

Well to tell the truth I think she has more moxie then any male candidate I seen in years.

And another truth is: I'm enamored by the fact that, for the first time since I been born, a female has been able to break into the ranks of whats been considered a man's domain only in America.

Women are important enough, strong enough, and intelligent enough (to me they always have been) to run this country - is the real message of her.

And the most important thing here: is that this message is conveyed through a conservative, fundamentalist political group in which females have always taken a back seat to males.

No, to tell the truth in my personal life christian fundamentalists have always rubbed me the wrong way.

And for this fact alone, even given all her good traits and her beauty (anyone who says shes not good looking is lying), I could never "lover" her.

However, I respect her and see how important she is to every female in not only America, but the world in standing up as role model for female rights.

It's strange that you would say this because while in relationships I've been known to allow females to dictate everything...

And there are three reasons for this, that I can think of right now...

One, giving that much power to anyone in your life was seen as the ultimate sacrifice in the name of "love"

Two, the relationships seemed to be less argumentative (at lest in the beginning)

Three, being that I have such a strong personality it only seemed fair to give this status to the female


The longest relationship I had while holding on to this silly belief was 12 years

But as you can imagine all those relationships (as well as the 12 year one) failed because eventually I would need to assert myself or the female would be doing other things, outside the relationship, that was destructive to the relationship...

You wanted to be a mom at 17? be honest about it.
If i ever have kids, i dont want that to happen to them.
And i would blame myself, for not being a good parent. Btw im 22 years old now, i study still, no way in hell ill be a parent anytime soon. Not till im ready, settled, and all that. i still play computer games ffs, as you do.

Its not about whether i wanted it or not.. >.> It happened and i took my responsibilties.. you said that being pregnant at 17 means bad parenting or a bad kid...my mum did the best she can.. and im a bloody good mum thankyou very much.. i have two very clever and very talented, well rounded kids, even after all theyve been through. It was my mistake not my parents and they supported me all the bloody well....you have no idea..its people like you who make young girls feel ashamed about something that in cases is just sheer bad luck. BTW what has me playing computer game got to do with anything..lame.
