Knight thread: brag about your HP

I wish someone would give me a nice item liek that too so far all ive done is give..and get nothing back lol. All i ever did was put myself in a bad position, giving away great items to people who never thought twice about me, so my items on my conj are subpar, ive only managed to scrape together enough mana gear to help grinders in support (i love helping though, its what i enjoy, whether or not its a thankless job) So my Hp is a pitiful 2772 and my mana is 2843. Maybe someday I will get really nice gear from someone who remembered :P i can dream lol.
I guess my biggest want right now is a nice barb leggings for 50, magical if possible..resist stats mostly, as i8m trying to build a set around passive resists..so slash/pierce/physical/magical resists would be nice..i dont need mana or attack speed leggings lke everyone else..:P

and maybe some good cs gloves..and an int hat..as all i use is a vesper hat, which i want to sell when i find a good int +mana hat, I use a pair of 150 mana + 6 conc gloves..but id love to have cs and mana! :P sounds nice, i will sell the mana gloves when i too find (someday) a pair with both mana and cs. Im hoping to be able to get better gear and donate what i wear currently, when I can find replacements.

Just a few notes on how other Knights acheive these HP levels:
- Your starting race only loses or gains you something like 112 HP, if you don't put points into Const then 225
- The Bloodthirsty axe from that Runestones quest helps a ton! (+200hp)
- Don't underestimate the Ignis rings and amulets, they suck but that's still up to +134 HP
- Stone temple(5) is +352 HP on Amun, +334 HP on RA/Horus

So the maximum bonuses for Ignis are:
- +134 from Items
- +450 from Troll's skin
- +200 from the axe? I think all realms have it
- +334 from Stone temple
- +112 from the Shield (somewhat rare)
- +112 from the Pauldrons
- +237 from the BP (rare, 112 is more common)
- +250 from Dragon amulet (rare)

The total is +1,579 with God's amulet, +1,759 with Dragon amulet, and half of it can be obtained without hunting gears. The maximum bonus for Syrtis is 176 HP higher, and for Alsius 126 depending on item choice, however those items are easier to obtain, which makes them OP.

Yeah, now that I think of it, that quest (~LV39) gives the Lghtning ring instead in Ignis instead.

i dont know of anyone who actively uses it in fighting anyway. In syrtis it's a sword too though both slashing so doesnt make much of a difference

FYI as well, the counterpart to the Bloodthirsty axe in Syrtis is the Bloodthirsty sword, during the bloodless heart quest by (porlas?)

Of course it wouldn't be useful for a knarb, but for a CC/Tank build where dmg isn't an issue, I'd kill to have one of those.


NGD, please consider adding that quest to Ignis, as I know some non-knarb, full support knights who would love that. Unfortunately the way you have it set up now, you're giving an awesome piece of tank gear to two realms full of knarbs.

Well if you got to go all "true knights would kill for it" Slashing is probably one of the worst trees for true knights it only offers one effective CC and as you switch weapons to pierce or blunt which are much more effective you wouldnt get the bonus very often anyway.

Besides with knights that have access to it i have NEVER seen them use it among them are the likes of;

Roofus the Stuntbum
Lust
Mattdoesblock
shur gupt
Falcorn Bosso
Zeric of Ga

All of the above are true knight built and none of them use a bloodthirsty axe/sword.

On topic: Fredu Ardo is still yet to post and put us all to shame XD he has very close to 5k hp on the live servers without trollskin

There hasn't been much opportunity for "true" knights to participate after 1.0. More to the point I was speaking of the "new" knight design; i.e. my build will not include dmg trees past d.limb or balestra. In a full support setup (auras, d.stance, etc.) dlimb is a nice CC spell and is low in the tree enough to not affect the build by much. For a dedicated support tank that sword would be invaluable. Not everybody plays a knight to do 800dmg s.crosses.
